Who Am I You Ask?

Who am I you ask?

Well that just depends on who you’re asking.

Am I the girl who walks around with a big smile on her face,

Or the girl who cries herself to sleep at night?

Am I the girl with the nice body and flat stomach,

Or the girl who refused to eat to be skinny?

Am I the girl that had a passion for music,

Or the girl that feels like the flame has burned out?

Am I the girl who got straight A’s in school,

Or the girl who worries if she’ll graduate college?

Am I the girl that had the perfect boyfriend,

Or the girl that repeatedly begged him to stay?

Am I the girl that had all the name brand clothes,

Or the girl who went without just to get them?

Am I the girl that was always honest with people,

Or the girl that continuously lied to herself?

Am I the girl that admired her beauty in the mirror,

Or the girl who criticized herself because of her flaws?

Am I the girl who loves unconditionally,

Or the girl who fears she’ll never really be loved by anyone?

Am I the girl who has it all put together,

Or the girl who is slowly falling apart?

Who am I you ask?

Well that just depends on who you’re asking.
