Who are you?

On What authority do you come?

whose jurisdiction resides here?

better still

who are you?

to ask my name

to ask me to scribble away with

an over-priced plastic tube

scratching my heart onto paper

this dead tree upon which I place my heart is infinitely more capable of hearing than you

So I ask again,

Who do you think you are?

unelected dictator who takes me for granted

standing erect at podiums too short

blackboard behind with words like bones scrawled

requesting of me to regurgitate information

unimportant

irrelevant

idiotic to me

On what authority do you ask of me to write?

It is not forced

but coerced from the soul

soothed out by ink and crumpled notes

slash that

On what authority do you critique my writing?

who are you to tell me what form

in which to speak

what vocabulary is proper

what words are taboo

even the most educated man

can't clean the window to my soul

But who am I? You ask

Misfit college kid

diving into debt for the formality

raving lunatic that fights with a pen

goalsetter aspiring to be a better man

sinner saved by Jesus

I'm a

Coffee snob

nap conessieur

hipster hater (But not really)

status quo foe

Angry independent voter

Poor

Adicted tired self conscious individual

who wishes he was better

What sets me apart isn't attributes

but attitude

who are you? I asked

truly it doesn't matter

who am I?

I am me,

Who loves you.

Hey, Thank you so much! It means a ton!

This has the weight of worlds. So much substance. At the end we are left to question if words are best said by powerful people or great people.

OMG OMG OMG OMG! I love the language you used (word choice)! Other than that though, I'm too busy thinking "OMG!" to formulate any real thoughts. It was beautiful, plain and simple.
