Who Are You

Let's take a moment to sit back and look at your life

Would God be pleased and say that you've done right

Or would you find a person lost and confused 

A kid beaten down and severely bruised 

See you want to live the life where Christ fills you up 

And blessings are the only drink in your cup

 Nah nah I don't think you get we can't live this life alone 

So get up pack your bags it's time to come home 

 I don't wanna see you on the street lying dead 

So it's time you get this message through your thickhead

Winning in sports and contest are  fun

But do you know you still haven't actually won 

If you don't believe it just take it from the word 

I promise if you read it people won't think your nerd

Philippians 4:13 states it pretty clear 

Without God in your life there is much more to fear 

I know it may seem like I'm trying to shock you and make you do good 

I just want you to know what it would be like if I got you out of the hood 

No no not the hood that lives outside 

The one that lives inside and keeps your brain fried 

See God loves you and he wants you to succeed 

But you can't do that when your life is filled with greed 

Let's be straight greed isn't just material stuff

It's wanting everything but that's still not enough

I get it I understand I know that it's hard 

But you can't live your life staying on guard 

I've said all I can say 

I've preached all I can teach

It's time to throw away the bones 

Grab hold to this meat

So now that you know God is the only way you can win

It's about time you stop living your life in sin
