Who are YOU

Dear YOU,

I know you hear what they say about you, it is hard not to listen.

Their words will not cut smooth like a knife through butter, but like a serrated edge through drywall.

Their opinions will shape your own thoughts of you just like clay.

Remember, YOU are the sculptor; they can not shape YOU.

It will be hard to look in the mirror and ignore the image burned into your head like songs on your favorite CD named "Sad".

Try your hardest and pay attention to the unique, and beautiful reflection that should never be this hard to see.

YOU are different like there's no fingerprint alike, and some would be willing to cut their fingers off to be the same.

Don't give in. Love your fingers and yourself. Value your difference.

Hold yourself together with your own two hands and worry no more about what they say.

They may hurt YOU, but YOU will be

Stronger,

Humbled,

Loved,

Kinder

So, who are YOU?
