Who are you
who are you?
not the person I knew
like a color that fades over time
I slowly feel you falling behind
you used to be the city with the brightest lights
a city with the the safest streets,
with the nicest people to meet
filled with so much life, so much beauty
now your city is dark, its cold, its scary
streets filled with danger,
surrounded by strangers
the stars in your eyes
used to guide me through the midnight sky's
but now my starry trail is nothing but broken stones
I will, still, hold my own.
