who are you to judge

I am Abiba Quartey

I am very sensitive and entertaining

I wonder if people know who I really am

I hear people say stuff about me that aren’t true

I see people frown whenever they hear my name; I want them to take a chance just to know me.

I pretend I don’t hear all the nonsense people say about me

I feel like it’s me against the world

I touch the feeling of love and hate at the exact same time

I worry about people that don’t know me but think they do, I really do…

I cry when people don’t listen to my side of a story

I am Abiba Quartey

I understand that I’m a very loud person

I say it’s all about putting a smile on peoples face

I dream of being an entertainer

I hope people just mind their own business and stop worrying about others

My verse will be “Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you.”

I am Abiba Quartey
