Who Can See For Miles?

I stand silently on my roof, looking out over the surrounding lands I see the deserts extending for miles to the west and south they are flat, dry places of sand and shrubs where few animals survive I see the mountains jutting into the sky to the north and east they are tall, craggy pieces of rock and dirt formed over many millennia I see the sun setting over the deserts in the west a sea of red and orange Virgil is standing next to me, waiting for me to return there is no one else watching the sunset it makes me Sad.
