Who Can Stand?

When sons no longer raise swords against their father.

Who can stand?

When truth arises out of her well.

Who can stand?

When the downtrodden are lifted.

Who can stand?

When the huddled masses embrace.

Who can stand?

When the voices of the oppressed fight the powers that be.

Who can stand?

When nations sheathe their blades and no longer can learn war.

Who has caused this?

What has happened?

Who can answer?
