WHO CARES?
Does anyone really care about you?
When you're down and out and scared?
When evil black emotions gripped you,
Do you think they really cared?
When you've been absent from work,
Meetings and family and church.
Did anyone who claimed to care,
Begun an all out search?
Where were the home or hospital visits;
The calls or texts or cards?
That lessen hurts and bore your burdens,
When your whole life is shards?
This world is empty, absent of sound,
But the wracking sobs of your broken heart.
Where is that person who hears the cries
When your life you're about to abort?
Hell NO! You are right to think that!
To cry, "I'M ALL ALONE!"
And what about the PHD's
Who treat you like a clone?
The rarity of that weary,
Long suffering, heaven-sent friend,
That one who really cares,
And with you, your life help mend.
