Who Even Knew You?

Who Even Knew You? The news anchors debate every little detail hoping to uncover something that explains it all away- The closest friends seem oddly distant more like an acquaintance that never remotely suspected the guys they thought they'd known- The parents and the family have trouble understanding how this could have happened or how it's even possible, the police must have it wrong- The church, though they admit to knowing, slowly turn and distance themselves because the last thing they need is more hate for their faith- Even a wife and daughter are shocked to see the suspects flashed across the TV screen as the madness spirals out- Who even knew you? you hurtful and hateful brothers you enders of priceless lives you shredders of flesh and bone- One who will never explain the other who will spend the rest of his life trying to explain. Now, no one will forget you. The shame you've given your family the therapy you've given to the victims the holes torn into souls like shrapnel piercing skin- Now millions know your names this will be your legacy here what a shame this mess that you've created the fingerprint you leave behind and how you'll be remembered from this sad, sad day in America A question to the Boston Marathon Bombers
