Who goes There?

I roamed through the leaves, found no man, only animal beings.

Who were they?

Old Fred, the hissing snake,

Emmanuel, the silent bear,

Saul, the wolf prince,

Albert, the cursed stag,

Leo, the bitter owl,

Zho, the furious wolverine,

Levi, the miserable falcon,

Khan, the wise moth,

Brutus, the fibbing fish,

and greatist of all?

Theodora, the dark fox.

Everywhere I go they follow.

Watching, waiting,

For a Son of Man roams through the leaves.
