Who is I

Who is I behind the curtain be

Am I modest, shy against the weathered sea?

A sea of caricature, who am I really for the others to see?

Are they ready when I cast my inconfidence aside - the dream?

Like a tattered cloak revealing yet another vivid visor.

O what dread

Vicarious Noh masks putting on a show, various emotions colored in purity.

Hiding behind curtains freely without care

Reflecting back what was already there

Is it cowardly?

To hide the endless halls of mirrors within my eyes and thought?

Sight see to believe! I am not yet ready, however I shall not tarry.

To show where my heart bleeds of whatever my kind.

Exalt and bask when you do see me

Until I have yet courage, behind the curtain be.
