Who I've been all along

Not afraid of rejection

I run and hide

Open and looking on the bright side

Smiling and laighing

Hiding the pain and fear

But you'll never know

Who I am

How I feel

But it never seems to matter

You know enough

You know the basics

The rest I can hide

run away with

Who I am is no match for who I've been

Pretending to be strong and pushing myself

Hiding the side of me I want you to know

Hiding the part of me that's so much better

But never having the nerves

Not the guts to show
