Who I Am?

Who I am? It cannot be defined by logic or reason, Nor can it be measured by a matter of depth, But rather it's in my ability to comprehend the world, Through the eyes of a blind man, Who I am? Is not just one person, I am many, I am none, I am a newborn taking it's first breath. An artist, a poet crafting an incomplete masterpiece, A piece of a puzzle waiting to be completed, Who I am? I've learned to breathe, to walk on my own, The scars on my hands, from the seams I have sown, Define my soul and outline my heart, They color my eyes, that shine bright against the sun. Sketch a smile, forever marked on canvas, Who I am? Begins with a smile from a friend, A thought in my head, a pen to illustrate my story, I am me, a person of substance and soul, Of flesh, bone, and heart, Who i am? Is an expression of my words, A whisper in a noisy room, A brush awaiting to paint its future, A machine that feels and makes mistakes, Who i am, is a question to be answered by you.
