who i am

I am Clarissa Garza the 2nd child, the only girl
A daddy’s girl this is not a role I play
This is my life.
The daughter of a wild man
The daughter of a good woman.
It comes so easy for me at home.
That’s not the case at school.
That’s not the case in dance.
My best is not her best.
“Success will come to those who work for it”
At first it was was just a quote but now I see the truth behind it.
Something so basic, so simple
The guidance through my senior year.
Dancing darling diva
That’s who I am.
That’s who I’ve become.
Dance, the inspiration in my heart.
The control over my mind.
This will lead me through the rest of time
My future is bright!
