This is who I am

I am what my mother and father said I'd never be

They said I couldn't accomplish what I wanted

and I honestly thought that was so mean.

But here I am, reaching for the best

striving for success.

In me, there's much more than what you see,

from the scars, to the smiles,

there's so much more to me.

And although the pain still lingers in my heart,

I always make sure I don't fall apart

I am the flower that blooms throught the dark,

I'll never lose my spark.

I am the passionate girl full of wonder,

something I learned when I was younger.

I'll reach my goal,

no matter how ambitious I might seem.

I'll always trust my heart, rather than those who don't

belive in me.
