Who I Am
I am Marissa
There’s no one I rather be
I am a twin
Being Baby B
I am tall
For being a girl
My hair is naturally brown
But I mixed it with red
It falls past my shoulders in waves
My friends call it my lioness mane
My eyes are blue
Sometimes being light or dark
Like the depths of the sea
I am kindhearted
Some say that I care too much
But my heart is big
I am patient
I can listen to problems and stories
Hopefully taking away their worries
Because I’ve been through pain
And I don’t want them
To go through the same things
I try hard in everything I do
Because I want the best
Not just for me, but for everyone
I am human
I can be hateful and mean
Everyone has those days
But I am a friend
I will always be there for you
I am forgetful
Remembering the silly things
There’s no one I rather be
I am Marissa
And I am me
