Who I Am
I am the wallflower who at first
is warry to all that’s around.
I am the dreamer with a thirst
for the world in papers bound.
I am the reader in the sun
who falls in love with every story.
I am the child who is on the run
for the sun shines in all it’s glory.
I am the girl who hides from rain
and waits for the sun’s return.
I am the helper who feels others pain
and reaches out to sooth a burn.
I am the fighter who stands by your side
and keeps you standing strong.
I am the adventurer who's up for the ride
and has been with you all along.
I am the optimist who does not doubt
and tries sees the perks.
I am the learner who is always about
and asking how it works.
I am the worker who stays up late
until I figure how to make it right.
I am the inventor who tries to create
again and again with all my might.
I am the planner who thinks out far
and makes a plan to never miss.
I am the seeker who goes for the star
without being afraid to fall into the abyss.
