That who I am

I am african
No i don't only eat chicken
“You don't look african”
Is that supposed to make me buoyant?
Oh and yes i have kinky hair
“You would look better if it was straight”
Oh yeah? Well i don't care
Do you know about self-restraint?
Or do i not have the right to complain?
Maybe you are trying to offend me
But don't you see your words don't affect me?
Or maybe you don't mean it that way
Yeah next time how about you watch what you say?
Was i supposed to look like you?
Was i suppose to act like you?
Was i supposed to talk like you?
Oh my bad if i can't fit in your shoes
Cause i'm too busy exploring my own
Thanks for you opinion
But thats who i am so,
How about you let me stay on my throne
And you stay in your zone
