Who I am
Lights, camera, action
It's time for acting
Put on a mask
Im a different person
and you will see who
Im meant to be
Laugh off the pain
That's what I do
Keep a smiling face
Even though I hurt so bad
keep the storm inside
The hurricane
Take a sip of my pain
And taste my tears
So put on the make-up
Pretend and make believe
How could you know
If I act as someone im not
Take a shovel and dig
Into my past, my life
See the tears I've cried
See the bullets of pain shoot through me
Do you really know the smiling girl
The past I hide in dark places in my mind
I keep only happy thoughts
Like a diamond I SEEM clear
But shine it in the light you'll see my colors
You must be foolish to think im happy
Do you see my broken heart, my lonely soul
I forgot your blind to my pain
So tell me...
Who am I
The loved, the content, the great
No im the broken, the barren, the strangled
That's who I am
