Who I Am: Flaws and all

Location

I am that beautiful black girl in the top right hand corner of IHSCA's 2015 yearbook

The black girl with kinky coily crurls strong featured face and no hips and no waist

but beautiful in every way.

From the tallest female in the class to the class clown and a smart ass

but intelligent and wise.

I am so self-consciencious about my look that I compare myself to others and every flaw I find makes me uncomfortable

Every un-polished nail, every pimple, every un-arched eyebrow and messy hair styles all contribute to my insecurtities.

but I have learned that confidence is silent and insecurites speaks volume, so I love my self because if I dont no one else will

And this is me in my rarest form

telling the truth about who I am, a beautiful and average african american girl
