This Is Who I Am (my identity)


In the playground I stand

With no one beside me

With a scarf wrapped tight around my head

I hold my chin up high

and walk straight

ignoring the eyes that stare

I don't care what people think

all that matters is what I think.

I am a strong, indpendent girls

with dreams as big as the Great Wall of China

or maybe even bigger.

My mind is as sharp as the thorns on beautiful rose

and as fast as a bullet flying out of a gun

This is who I am
