Who I am in the world

Standing quietly,

Is the girl in the corner of the classroom.

And all that’s going through my head is

I will never be good enough,

Because the world is full of people.

So shy and,

Never amounting to much anyways,

Because life is so difficult.

Failing,

Yet going to band and trying.

Who says the world is great.

I say,

The world would be better off without me.

But I don’t say,

I’m extravagant,

Because

I'm Extravagant.

I don’t say

The world would be better off without me

Going to band and trying,

Yet failing.

Because life IS so difficult

Never amounting to much

And so shy.

Because the world is full of people,

I will never be good enough.

And all that’s going through my head is that

I AM the girl in the corner of the classroom,

Standing quietly,

Yet happy at where I stand in the world.
