Who I became ...
Who am I ?
16 years old.
A female.
My class valedictorian.
Some who is dedicated.
Someone who kind.
At least I think.
This is a question that's subjective and has three sets of answers.
One being who I think I am,
Who the the world thinks I am,
And the other being who I really am.
If you ask me who I am, I'm sure you will agree.
It's just who I am deep down that scares me.
I am someone who wants to be healthy.
I am someone who wants to be happy.
I am someone who wants to successful.
I am someone who wants to be loved.
I am someone who never wants to disappoint.
I am someone who wants to have life together.
I am someone who loves God.
I am someone who is determined.
I am someone who is excited for her future.
I am someone who understands.
I am someone who loves.
I am someone who is favored.
I am someone who is hard working.
To the world I am someone who is beautiful.
I am someone who is intelligent.
I am someone who has it all together.
I am someone who has everything handed to me.
I am someone who doesn't have to stress financially.
I am someone who people would die to be.
I am someone has the perfect parents.
I am someone who is well put together.
I am someone who has nice things.
I am someone who is always happy.
I am someone who is lucky.
I am someone with beautiful hair.
I am someone who is spoiled.
Deep deep down, there is even more to me
The ugly.
I am someone who hurts others.
I am someone who is selfish.
I am someone who doesn't give 2nd chances.
I am someone who is broken.
I am someone who hides their emotion.
I am someone who cries often.
I am someone who is lost.
I am someone who pretends to be strong.
I am someone who is often impatient.
I am someone who procrastinates.
I am someone who has been disrespected by a man.
I am someone with an abusive father.
I am someone who craves love from a father.
I am someone who many people don't know.
I am someone at times that I don't even know.
But what truly makes me, me are verbs.
Not adjectives.
Adjectives describe,
But verbs tell actions.
I am my actions.
I am brave.
I am strong.
I am giving.
I am loving.
I am someone who prays constantly.
I am blessed.
Best of all I am me.
Someone who the world has made me.
Someone who is still finding her voice.
Someone who still makes mistakes.
Someone who is still learning.
Someone who is still pushing.
The events in my life have only molded me.
They have taught me more than I have ever learned in school.
They have made me cry myself to sleep many nights.
They have made me trust God.
They have made me love me.
One day I hope to be someone who is successful.
Someone who is happy.
Someone who is loved.
Someone who is closer to God.
Someone who can help young girls like me. Those who are troubled emotionally.
