Who I want to be

I want to be the girl with fire in her eyes

I want to be the girl who can find peace in pain

I want to know that I am more

I am more than my past

I am more than my present

Because life can tear you to pieces

And not even success has proven enough to make someone happy

I want to be bold

I want to be bright

I want to stand tall

And declare myself as the girl who knows

"I am more than a future that is up to me to create."
