Who I'm Not

Please know that who you think I am, isnt me.

If you think I'm shy it is for the sole reason that you refuse to see me as outgoing.

If you think that I am a leader it's because you refuse to see me as controlling.

If you see me as simply as a girl who sits alone sometimes, 

It is because you are wrong.

I am rainy days when the sun refuses to shine.

I am the stars you see when you look up into the night sky.

I am your favorite song when you needed it most.

I am what you fear when the lights go out.

I am the ash that was left over from the forest fire.

I am the flowers growing in the cracks of the sidewalk.

I am more than shy or outgoing, 

I am limitless.

So see me as I am or not at all, 

But know that I am only invisible because you made me.
