who knew?

I smiled and waved like nothing's ever happened. But who would've thought I was already broken. "I'm fine," I'll say, when people start to ask. A smile I wear but tears will fill my eyes. Again I'm torn and feeling down. Staring at shiny blade in the bathroom like nothing's wrong. Delighted feeling it'd would bring, but pains already shooting through me. It'd be another scar id wear below my blouse. So tonight before I go to sleep I'll pray. "Lord, give me strength to go through another day. I close my eyes and start to dream. Just to forget everything for a little while.
