Who Knew It Could Be Done

I want to be a musician So that I can soothe the souls of others With a heart beat-like rhythm I want to be an artist So that others will wonder ‘Where did she get the inspiration?’ I want to be a writer So that I can tell my stories And others cannot say ‘no one cares’ I want to be a poet So that I can be all of those things I can be a musician So I will write to the rhythm of my heart With the souls of others in mind I can be an artist So I can find my inspiration In the wonder of others I can be a writer So I will make people care And they will know my story I want to be a poet
