Who needs hate?

Who needs hate?

Who needs hate?

I ask you, what purpose does it serve?

Think of all the times you've spent with another person, it can be anyone.

Your mom, dad, girlfriend, boyfriend, coworker, brother, sister, uncle, cousin, best friend, anyone.

Now imagine having a fight with one or two or even multiple of these people.

You yelled, you screamed, you threw words that weren't meant to be heard into one anothers faces, words that once they've left the vocalization device that you call a mouth they cannot be retracted, cannot be erased, cannot be unsaid.

I hate you! I never want to see you again! Get out of my life and never return!

You break apart that bond that held you to those people, feels painful doesn't it?

Now imagine you lived in a world where all that's you saw, all that you heard, all that you breathed, smelled, tasted, felt. Imagine if all of your senses were completely and utterly devoted to that word.

People live like that, in the day and age we live in, hate is still a prominent driving force behind many of the atrocities mankind commits against his fellow man.

Hate is taught.

Hate is bred.

Hate is learned.

It spreads like a disease among the populace, infecting everything it touches with its searing, blinding heat.

Some are taught to hate others because of their skin color, some because of their religion.

For whatever reason we as a species cannot get this plague out of our systems.

We hate people because they look different than us, sound different than us, believe in something different, love differently, act differently.

But why? Why is there so much hate in the world?

What purpose does it serve?

It does nothing but bring violence and death upon those who act or are acted upon because of it.

I ask again, who needs hate?
