Who Needs A Prince?

Once upon a time there was a young girl in a tower

Locked away with no sense of power

Long blonde hair fell to the ground

As she stayed and watched the world go round

When one day a thief ran into her life

And suddenly her world was opened with strife

But as they traveled and adventured through town

She realized that she was meant for a crown

After regaining her family, not to be disowned

Our young princess found she did not want to be owned

Perhaps to everyones greatest surprise

She did not want to be with one of the guys

Her thief was just a friend, helping her in dire

Shocking the public with her desire

Revealing to all, she did not want a prince

This princess was not to be convinced

Instead she chose to lead with fire

The kingdom then had never been higher

And now as the saying goes

She lived happily ever after, without any woes
