Who was it really?

He had hair that looked so silky

It looked so nice flowing in the wind

He had such a nice smile

He flashed one of his dazzling smiles at me

I smiled back and then looked away nervously

He had such a cute laugh that I could listen to all day

He had eyes I wish to stare at everyday

His presence made me comfortable

But nervous at the same time

I didn’t want to say something stupid

So, I stayed quiet

Whenever I saw him my heart beats fast

Whenever I tried to text him I can’t

My mind stops me

“No don’t do it”

But my heart wants to so bad

“Yes! Yes! Talk to him”

I wanted to know him more

I wanted to spend more time with him

I was afraid though

Afraid of what?

The judgements

Change he to she

Change his and him to her

Who was this poem really about?

If you didn’t catch on

It was about

Not a guy

But a girl…
