Who was she?


Quite shy, she always remained silent

She never spoke up, and hardly ever made a sound.

It wasn’t until a chance came around that made her feel unshielded

That she figured out a way to come around.

Unaware and afraid, she concorded the fear.

Learning and yearning she was able to blossom.

She started to become a person worth unveiling.

Damage from the past has soon become a tale,

She was to overcome things she never thought attainable.

She was I, and I was she, but these days I am better off than she.
