As A Whole
Life comes and goes with friends and family dying and being born.
Life goes on with nothing forgiven and nothing forgotten.
We hold the key to it all.
We cause the most destruction.
We blame companies and the economy when we should be blaming ourselves.
We want to make sense of this unforgiving world.
We want and want and want.
But do we try?
We rely on others and the government to keep us afloat.
The option we should consider is building our own boat.
Count on ourselves and think of no one else.
This is what life has taught me.
Through the taunts of life’s tasks and through the challenges I face each day.
Life doesn’t give a damn but we, we on the other hand…
We care, rely on each other, and blame one another.
But we take no fault of our own.
Why should we trust other people with the right to defend and the right to prosecute?
We as people, not of this state or country, but of this world of ours, should hold our heads high.
In defeat.
In success.
In humility.
