A Whole New World
When the world gets me down,
I get shackled to the ground,
I’m isolated and depressed,
In a dark world where no life nor light is found
But when I grab my tools,
Pen and paper or my laptop
A new door is opened,
And the light is let in.
No matter if it’s about finding lost love someday
Or fighting the evil in the malicious world,
My tears dry,My fears die,
My frown gets turns into a smile
And suddenly I forget about everyone who kicked me while I was down,
Every problem I have
And at that moment it all seems so insignificant when I am holding my tools,
My pen, paper or my laptop
That opens up a whole new world just for me.
Writing,
It’s not a hobby,
It’s an embraced lifestyle.
