Wholeness

Psalm 127:4-5

Sons born during one’s youth
are like arrows in a warrior’s hand.
How blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them!
They will not be put to shame when they confront enemies at the city gate.

What is left to say when words are not needed?

Actions speak louder than noise and Love only whispers

Each and every day the selfish seems deeply needed

As we by instinct tolerate truth to get blistered

Is life a possession or a substance to be used?

For just a little while it’s in your care to hold

Why do we so easily take and mold it to abuse

To make others in survival into our own mold

Are children a gift of life or just an extension?

Is there no separation in this loveliness condoned?

Life is much more than a thought or contemplation

It was here before I was and will be when I’m gone

Obedience and sacrifice are they not related?

Is the 1st much more important than the 2nd in hand?

Maybe all in all our service is much overrated

If not motivated by love … just a bird on sinking sand

There is nothing wrong with doing good everywhere

But it’s surely not good enough unless love is satisfied

God’s purpose and endowment is in this atmossphere

Where servitude and wholeness will make all things right
