To whom it may affect
wake up
To yelling
That’s the alarm clock, nothing else
get up from “bed”
Mostly just blankets on the ground
don't bother to see what it is about… I know what it is about
Money, always money
Instead go wake up my little brother
If he doesn’t wake up before dad gets to him, it gets bad
Especially after the yelling
Oh the yelling
Will it ever stop
It finally does
make sure to get out his outfit
Before dad comes in
This is my daily routine
Go to school
Have people laugh and make fun of me
I don't get mad because they don't really know
They really don’t
I wish my life was back to it the way it was
At least I had my brother
After my mom left
She took him with
After that Dad would just get mad and angry but the thing is
He never drank
He didn’t need too
pull my sleeve down before the teacher noticed
she already did
Today I am supposed to be talking about family
There was no excitement
Instead a story
A story of wishes
A story of hope
A story in which there was love
And nothing ever wrong
Just a story
