Whom it may concern

My Name

My Address

02/12/2018

Whom it may concern

Somewhere, USA

02/12/2018

Attention all Leaders,

This is my last call for help.

I am writing in response to my lost youth.

I was young. I am young.

I needed guidance.

After reading your job description,

I was and am confident that my skills and passion for Service

Are a perfect match for this position.

I bought a broad range of skills including self-sacrifice, bravery, and strength.

18 is still too young to fully comprehend the art of war,

But I fought your wars proudly.

Next, to my brother and sisters in arms, I persevered on

But I needed guidance.

My need for leadership is past due.

The burden of leading without your guidance

Generated feelings of resentment, frustration and the consequence of regret.

This is my last call for help

I am writing in response to my lost youth.

I was young. I am young.

I cried, prayed, and hoped for guidance too long

I am on your side. I will always be

But I need you more than ever.

I have answered my nation's call.

Now it’s time for you to answer mine.

Sincerely,

SSgt G
