To Whomever
To whomever this may concern,
Stop looking for a way to change yourself,
stop thinking that you're not enough.
Stop saying that you can't be beautiful,
even though it might be tough.
Beauty is not based on size,
beauty is not the way your hair may fall.
Beauty is in the way you act,
and in the way you push through it all.
Beautiful is in the way you are you.
Beautiful is in the way you feel.
Beautiful is in the way you smile.
Your beauty is real.
To whomever this may concern,
Think of yourself as something special,
as more than just another face in the crowd.
Think of yourself, not as a failure,
but as someone who looks back and can be proud.
You say that they wouldn't miss you,
that it wouldn't take that much.
You think that nobody cares to stop you,
but the truth is not as such.
Please don't make any move,
on a choice that isn't yours to make.
Please don't think that you deserve to lose
everything that isn't yours to take.
To whomever this may concern,
Nobody is born perfect,
nobody is ever happy with the way they are.
Nobody feels they have a right to happiness,
but you have the right to take yourself far.
Everybody wishes they could be something more,
Everybody wants to be happy with their life.
Everybody deals with their demons and skeletons,
you just have to push past the inner strife.
To whomever this may concern,
Stop looking for a way to change yourself,
stop thinking that you're not enough.
Stop saying that you can't be beautiful,
because you are.
