Who's really the ugly one?

New life is born

Beautiful life of a duckling is born

Everyone saw and everyone hated

How beautiful they cannot be

"Why not I?" They wonder.

They shun the Duckling

Made it to believe that it is what it's not

Hatred and jealously filled everyone

They do not want the Duckling to know of its beauty

Slowly it corrupted the hearts of everyone

The Duckling was alone

Sad that it was born

Showing it's ugliness to everyone

Never made a friend nor had compassion from someone else

What can it do now that it has no friends nor family

As the years passed by, everything was too much

Giving up on life, it went to a waterfall

Bottom of the rushing water

Sharp rocks at the end, will lead to anyone's ruin

"Everything comes and goes as they say

And so is the same for my life," thought the Duckling

Waiting to fall to its death on the bright shiny moon

Finally seeing it's reflection it was amazed to see

That it's soul is as bright as the moon

How pretty it is, is this how everyone saw me?

"I seem to no longer be a small duckling but what am I?" confused for a moment,

It stopped to consider that maybe it was okay with itself.

"I'm okay with how I look, I don't need to change a thing for anyone.

Oh, what a fool I am trying so hard to try to make everyone happy

When it was never enough with what I did. They told me I was a duckling

but it seems to me that I am not one." thought the Swan.

"From now on, I will live my own life."

The beautiful swan decided to help others believe,

They are not what others say they are.

You are who you want to be.
