WHO'S SIDE ARE WE ON?

Whose side are we on? When were waking up at the crack of dawn There’s no grass to cut on the flight deck lawn. So, again I ask whose side are we on? In the bible the LORD states LOVE, PEACE and HARMONY. All I see though is this multi-million dollar armory. So, for the third time I ask, “Whose side are we on?” Going control one nation for all its oil While we on this battle field without any soil So, I just do as I’m told Like a robot that has no control Converting over to the other side Acting as if everything is alright. I go to the lounge to watch some T.V. I put it on channel 3 And what do I see? I see children crying out to me I see mothers using and abusing I see father’s that are losing While they try to be so amusing While our brother is selling that next rock, to your nephew and niece While we out here protecting them so they can make another dime piece All this shit on TV. Is just getting sick to me So, let me flip the script up one While these people are having so much fun Messing with other people’s lives, while they live in fear and they cry Cause they so afraid to die! I am so sick of this agony, What’s the point of watching T.V.? When every time you turn it on You see nothing but a catastrophe, So much negativity running through all this publicity. Even when you go pray in the church, Sooner or later you realize how much dirt is under the preacher’s shirt. When some of them are trying to get into you children’s skirts. Now let’s talk about the WEL-FARE! When it should really be called HELL-FAIR! Living in a system where you just curse them and diss them Put yo ass on the streets and soon you’ll be missin them So, again I ask for the fourth time, “Whose side are we really on?” I am not frontin or putting on a charm. All these thoughts are running through my mind, while I’m stuck in this dorm. But I mean no harm, as I set 36 for the Hornet wondering how many innocent people are in the way of the target. Then I check it for the Rhino at number 44. HAPPY BIRTHDAY Son, I just caught the pilot that dropped a bomb on your front door. It’s okay though, we caught the bad guys. No one asked you if you were willing to give up your own life and sacrifice. I just want Peace and harmony, Like the one up above! I tell you what, “sacrifice me”, yeah I said it… SACRIFICE ME So I can fly off like a dove And show you how to love Don’t let the devil get you in his mysterious ways, if you listen close enough, You’ll hear him through the radio waves. Stay away from the TV As it will lure you through all this fidelity. And when you go pray in the church, Observe the preachers’ words Cause you’ll know right from the start if his words are coming from his heart. Also, when you on the streets…pay close attention to the signs that are right in front of your face As there is no turning back or looking behind Make it sooner not later…to find out the truth Cause the devil will come at you in his fly ass suit And you will never know Until you ask for forgiveness and cleanse out your soul For the lies that are said and the truths that are untold. Hold up and sec… I am not done yet… this is a poem that I want you to never forget. In the meantime… I call out “BATTERY”, While the jet hits the deck And the tempeture is rising and people try to be so conieving in their own foolish games, While not realizing it but they are driving themselves insane. So…what do you wanna hear next? Religion or sex? Or maybe Money and Power. I can go on and on for hours and hours Maybe even days and days Hopefully you getting the message in the words that I am trying to say. If not, let me make it blunt for you. Live for today and not for tomorrow For tomorrow is not promised and it may be full of sorrow. Make your own choices in life and try to do what’s right Cause sometimes at night we get blinded by the light And our first attempt is to put up a fight But be careful, We as warriors have to learn when to strike! Notice the signs that are thrown at you to lead you back on the path to praise your temple instead of feeding it all these artificials. Be natural with yourself And don’t be afraid to ask for anyone’s help. Just play your hands carefully As the cards have been dealt. So…for one last time I ask, “Whose Side are We ON?" Lets come together as one and become the strong...
