why?

Why does it hurt?
to it hold back
this fury, this hatred
that fills me
Body and soul
In flames of red.

To hold back the blue
the sadness and grief
that drowns me to
the point of numbness.

why do i hold them in?
when i know that soon
i will be burned in red
and washed away in blue.
