Why?
Why?
Why is it always those who are powerless to fight?
Because they can't stand up for their rights.
Why do you have to attack someone over skin color?
Because they look different.
Why are you afraid of that which is different?
Because it isn't like me.
I have an answer for that.
We are all the same, you and I.
Me with my colored skin and you with your white.
The girls with the "red" skin down the street
We are all part of this world
And we all have to live here together.
What makes us different?
Color is only skin deep.
Underneath, I bleed red just like you.
My heart pumps the same blood and I breathe the same air.
So why does the color of my skin matter at all?
