Why?

Why?

Why is it that I have to pay to learn?

Sure people need money, but don't I need an education?

Why?

Why is it that those who have a thirst for knowledge can't quench it because of financial hardships?

Sure, there are scholarships, but since when is that a determining factor?

Why?

Why is it that our society favors the value of a dollar over the knowledge and comprehension of our succeeding generation?

Why is it that if I want an education that I can use to better society, I have to first go knock on the doors of organizations to help me get there?

Why is it that if I want to learn, I have to pay?

I didn't sign up for a pre-paid plan on education.

I want knowledge.

And I want it now.
