Why.

God, why have I been put in this position?

Why have I been here screaming, crying for help?

I see all these people around me.

Some hear me. Some see my pain.

But I can't change.

I go back and forth in my mind for days.

I have support, I'm strong enough, but I just...can't.

God, I know I haven't come to you,

Except in times like this

Please forgive me Lord

I know Your grace can save me.

Yet again I ask:

Why is my sadness marked upon my body?

Why does my image force me to do things I could regret?

How did I slip this far?

I can't see the light, the walls are caving in.

How is there still air, how am I still living?

Through You.

It must be.

There must be a reason.

I see light now, but only a crack.

I reach for it with all I have, but it's always too far.

The light gets more and more tempting ever second.

I reach for it more and more.

Yet the more I reach, the farther away it seems.

God, who am I?

Who is this person that has consumed me?

Certainly not the person you created.

You are the light, and I am a plant, reaching towards you, giving me faith and life.

Does this road have no end?

Does the yellow brick road come?

I must ask myself.

I must give myself to You.

I must not let myself simply grow towards You, but pull myself closer to You.

I still only see a hair of light.

Maybe someday I'll grow strong enough to pull myself to you...

Out of this hole...For good.
