Why?

Why did this happen to me?
Why do I have to go through this?
when will the pain subside?
and the horrific memories fade?
I don't want to see the face, nor hear the voice of that
person I called father.
tears falling from my eyes, shattering on the floor,
waiting for Gods loving embrace, please Lord
give me strength and courage to testify,
against this thing I cannot hide, against
this man I try so hard not to hate.
