Why?

I ask thousands of questions

That begin with why.

Why must I suffer

When it hurts me dearly?

Why must I watch others suffer

When it just about kills me?

Someone answer me

Please.

Why can’t I ever win?

Just once would be enough.

Why when I stand up

I get knocked back down?

These feet are my own

I think they

Deserve to be on the ground.

Why do I lose love ones

When I’m not done loving them?

Why do my heart go through pain

When all I ask for peace?

Is it too much too ask?

Are my questions too hard?

Why do my generation get ridicule

When we are not the only ones

Who acted out for attention?

Why can’t I find the answers

To my thousands of questions of why?

I ask thousands of questions

That begin with why.

Why must I suffer

When it hurts me dearly?

Why must I watch others suffer

When it just about kills me?

Someone answer me

Please.

Why can’t I ever win?

Just once would be enough.

Why when I stand up

I get knocked back down?

These feet are my own

Who acted out for attention?

Why can’t I find the answers

To my thousands of questions of why?
