Why?
Are we different or all the same?
Wishing to be someone we're not.
Why is society so simple and plain?
Who determines if we're popular or lame?
To me, we are all are just robots.
Are we different or all the same?
I can't really point to whom to blame.
It's just an idea I think about a lot.
Why is society so simple and plain?
Self morals, or a moment or fame?
Pick and choose a stripe or spot.
Are we different or all the same?
It feels good when someone knows your name,
But don't be ashamed to be a dot.
Why is society so simple and plain?
At the end of the day, my questions remain,
This is the last breath I've got.
Are we different or all the same?
Why is society so simple and plain?
