Why
Why does life seem so perfect for others
but not for my kind?
It's as if life has to rewind while the bills get signed
You'd never know how many tears
I have cried for my family that has died
The judgement I've received
for my religion or
the life I've lived
Yes, I was a teen mother,
Yes, I am Wiccan.
But why is it that other's
can bend rules
until they break
for the Goddesses sake
they bring drugs and guns into our schools
and I am the one judged and abused
how is that fair
I know rules can be broken
but people are still sulking for the rules
that've been broken.
So again I ask
why am I the one judged and abused
for the choices I have made
when others should have been for the
ruthless choices they gave.
