Why

Why can't we breathe

Without ongoing criticism of how our breath hitches slightly?

Why can't we walk

Without having our footsteps compared to another person whose path was even slightly similar to our own?

Why can't we speak

Without the weight of overly-sensitive society's bruised feelings?

Why can't we change

Without being told whay we are doing wrong, no matter how hard we try?

Why can't we live

Without our lives being comprimised by the violence of those who would rather pull the trigger than to address the problem with their words?

One day, we will awaken and live in a world where the commonality of freedom exceeds that of oppressing the silent.
