Why

Why do we judge so much,
Why do we hurt those who just want the best
Just to be happy
Yet we can tear it down in less than a heartbeat.
Yet we expect others to not do the same
We expect the best
And we tear down their walls and leave them with something they cannot fix
We leave them with the pieces of the window we broke
Telling them that if they’d been more careful
That they,
Wouldn’t have broken it
But the only bit of carefulness they could've done is not meet you.
They cannot fix what you broke.
Because unlike windows,
You can not buy a new soul,
And i know you are only reading but there is so much emphasis on those last words,
What you give to others may not be what they want
They can only truly get what they want from themselves

I only wish for everyone to be happy,
Yet if we were all happy we must all be dead,
Because
Everyone gets what they want,
Then they see someone elses happiness,
And that's what they want.

No one understands,
No one understands.
No one understands how I feel,
They don't get how it comes in waves
And how i can smile after breaking,
And how i can fake a smile,
Oh so well,
They just don't understand
I can be happy
And then it hits
And it's so awkward
To be happy
Truly happy
And then have to switch and not have an attack of panic
You have to fake it
Because they just don't understand.
Why do we believe that we can just,
Judge.
Why
It's not okay.

And why do we expect for everyone to be happy.
Why do we think that people are always happy
Because have you ever seen someone when they are not okay
They are distant
Disconnected
They are not truly there
And you continue to break their walls.
Because you just think they are lazy,
Incoherent.
Yet if you just ask them
You would know
You would understand more clearly.
